What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Alfreton?
Alfreton tree surveys come in three types: Tree Condition Reports for hazard assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lenders, and BS5837 surveys for planning and Tree Preservation Orders.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and safety of individual trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request this report to identify hazards such as decay, deadwood or structural weakness before they cause damage.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuation surveyor flags trees close to the property during a house purchase. The report satisfies the tree-related conditions set by major UK mortgage lenders before completion.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site into grades A to U. It sets root protection areas for each tree and produces a tree constraints plan. Amber Valley Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
